Congratulations to Bergenfield High School’s Jake Goldstein, who won Honorable Mention at the 2014 White House Student Film Festival. This is the first-ever film festival at the White House, and they received more than 2,000 entries that demonstrated so much talent, hard work and enthusiasm for technology and learning. The Film Festival will air live today, February 28th, at 3:30 pm in the nation’s capital, and can be viewed online at http://www.WhiteHouse.gov/FilmFestival. Jake’s film will also be displayed on Optimum Cable channel 77, the BHS Bears on Air network.

On Sunday, February 2, 2014, students from the Bergenfield High School Marching Band performed live during the Pepsi Halftime Show at Super Bowl XLVIII. This year’s Super Bowl was at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets.
