Comprehensive School Reform Grant

CSR Grant funded activities in RWB Middle School:
Rutgers University is providing In Service training and in class support sessions to our RWB math and language arts teachers. They have been receiving training on how to more effectively create and use technology to teach our children. This training involves the use of Smartboards (electronic white boards that are linked to a computer).
We have offered after school GEPA prep classes for our 8th grade students as well as Homework Clinics for all students.
Our CSR grant team is joining up with our RWB “Building Team” to assist the principal in making data based decisions and fostering our building goals and vision.
Our literacy coach is providing in-class support to teachers throughout the building.
Connected Math workshops on how to help your child with this exciting curriculum are being offered to 6th grade parents (the sixth grade has adopted this math series).
