This year's theme is Angry Birds-Happy Readers and is based on the characters from the computer game sensation. In a change from past year's, students will be required to earn 7 points on Accelerated Reader quizzes in order to move from one station to the next. A total of 49 points earned between February 4th and April 5th will earn a student top honors for completing the program. Books read should be on a student's independent reading level. As always, the WSPA is providing prizes for each of the seven stations. All students completing the seventh station will earn a special ticket making them eligible to take part in a live-action version of the Angry Birds game. Who will prevail, the egg-stealing pigs or the Angry Birds students? Stay tuned to find out.

Give for 100

While food drives are typically held during the holiday season, people typically forget that there is a need for pantry replenishment year round.
