Hoover School Hosts an NJASK Parent-Child Workshop

On Tuesday, March 27th, the Hoover School held a NJASK workshop for parents and children in grades 3, 4 and 5.  The presenter, Catherine Kovarcik, shared important information about the NJASK and how parents can prepare their children during the week of testing. In addition, children and parents engaged in fun games and activities in the area of mathematics. In addition, helpful hints, tips and strategies were shared with the children. Hoover School Teachers, Ms. Gutierrez, Mrs. Roth and Mrs. Switzer attended to help facilitate the workshop. There were over 55 parents and students in attendance. It was a wonderful evening of learning.
