The 5th Grade Youth Power Club, which does community service projects throughout the year, asked the students of Lincoln School to donate toys for Zoey's Holiday Project.

 

Zoey Kominos is the daughter of Bergenfield High School graduate Jimmy Kominos and his wife Melanie. Zoey was born with cerebral palsy and has spent a lot of time in the hospital. Her parents started Zoey's Holiday Project as a way to give back to the hospitals which have helped their daughter.

 

Lincoln School responded in a big way. The children in Mrs. Babino's and Mrs. Monaghan's 5th grade classes collected over 400 toys from the students! These toys were delivered to area hospitals. It truly is better to give than receive.
