BERGENFIELD – The school board has appointed a New York City education official to supervise curriculum and instruction in the borough’s public schools.
Mary Anne DeVivio, a former principal who now serves as an education deputy network leader in the New York City Department of Education, was appointed at a special board meeting on Friday, according to a statement from Superintendent Michael Kuchar.
DeVivio will replace interim Assistant Superintendent Janice Dime.
