Come and see Once on This Island, a Caribean fairytale about Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues a wealthy boy from the other side of the island, Daniel, with whom she falls in love. Unbeknownst to Ti Moune, the pompous gods who preside over the island make a bet with one another over which is stronger, love or death, the stakes being Ti Moune's life.
We are combining the talents of the computer graphics, music, band, drama, and arts departments to bring this show to life. We are also collaborating with the elementary schools and have two fourth graders in our show! There are four performances over three days: March 7 and 8, and two shows on March 9th. There is also a Meet-and-Greet after the Saturday matinee: Meet the characters in costume and take pictures!
