Bergenfield Once Again Ranks in Top Ten for Technology Among U.S. Schools
Bergenfield Public School District is excited to announce that it has once again been recognized as a Digital School Districts Survey winner by the Center for Digital Education for the 2017-18 school year. This marks the district's seventh consecutive year placing in the top ten nationally for its innovative use of technology. Bergenfield stands alone as the only district in the state to receive this award in its current cycle.
The Center for Digital Education’s Digital School Districts Survey Awards recognize schools that are integrating technology for innovative curriculum and improved student learning. The Digital School Districts Survey top-ten rankings are awarded to the school boards/districts that most fully implement technology benchmarks in the evolution of digital education, as represented in the survey questions. All U.S. public school districts are eligible to participate. The awards are presented at the National School Boards Association’s annual conference each spring.
"The Board remains committed to providing our students and staff with access to the technological tools required to succeed in the 21st century," stated Dr. Christopher Tully, Superintendent of Schools.
