Her message to the class:

It has been a very different year then what we thought it would be in September. Who would have thought your last year at Franklin Elementary School would be via distance learning? As always you never cease to amaze me in what you are able to accomplish during difficult times. You have always risen to whatever challenge we have put in front of you and this was no different. You continued with your learning and met the requirements of your teacher. Job well done!
You will look back on this and say Wow! There is nothing that I can not do with hard work, dedication, time and the support of those that surround me. Whether that was a parent, a guardian, a grandparent, a big brother or sister and a teacher who cared about me. This was a life lesson that you will carry with you well into adulthood.
As always and I have said to you this time and time again, I am very proud of all of you and what you were able to accomplish. I find it a privilege to have been your principal during the last four years. I have seen how you have grown since your first days in 1st grade (that is when I came to Franklin), and where you are today.
So, today, we celebrate your completion of elementary school. You are well prepared to conquer middle school and duplicate the success you had in elementary school.
You are our future leaders and I hope you can say your foundation for greatness started here at Franklin Elementary School in Bergenfield, NJ, for your greatness can take you to each “corner of the Earth”.
I would like to thank all of the teachers you have had here and your parents for allowing us the opportunity to get to know each of you and to assist you in your journey. It is not over yet as you are about start a new and exciting path to continue on to greatness.
Congratulations to the future High School class of 2027!
You are ready for anything and everything that comes your way-met it head on and let your brilliance shine for all to see.
