Fourth and Fifth Grade - Read Across America

The fourth and fifth grade students, at Lincoln School, celebrated “Read Across America” day by taking some time out of their busy morning to read. Students lined the third floor hallway, selected their favorite book, and read. It was a great way to honor Dr. Seuss and celebrate the joy of reading. These students also participated in Renaissance Learning’s “Read the Most, Coast to Coast” contest on Friday, February 28. The goal was to have 5,000,000 Accelerated Reader tests taken on Friday, across the country. Many students at Lincoln participated in this exciting contest, and earned participation certificates as well. Best of all, our students are READING!
